The entire school community comes together to dine, enjoying both family style and buffet meals, in the Kerfoot Refectory. The food service at Saint James School is provided by Sage Dining Services, a renowned, Maryland-based dining service provider.
Sage Dining has been in business for 25 years, and is known for the use of high quality, seasonal local ingredients, and allergen awareness and training. This company offers a wonderful philosophy—emphasizing the use of raw, fresh, local foods, including bakery items—all of which are prepared on-site and served fresh to our students.

Hours of operation:
Weekday buffet style breakfasts are served Monday - Friday from 7:15 a.m. - 8:00 a.m.
Continental breakfast is served from 8:00 a.m. - 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, and from 8:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m. on Sunday
Family style lunches are served Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, and are required for both day and boarding students. Students sit at assigned tables with a member of the faculty or a prefect.
Buffet lunches are served Tuesday from 12:20-2:30, and Saturday at 12 noon.
Brunch is served on Sundays at 12 noon.
Family style dinners are served on Monday and Wednesday evenings at 6:30 p.m.
Buffet dinners are served on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at 6:30 p.m.
Friday evening buffet dinners are served at 6:00 p.m.
