Join the Alumni Council
The Alumni Council serves as a liaison between Saint James alumni and the school community. They work to achieve this goal in several ways:
Become a Class Agent
- By planning and hosting events for alumni
- By participating in fundraising efforts for the School’s Annual Fund
- By raising money for the School’s Scholarship Fund by sponsoring the annual Golf Classic
- By recognizing outstanding members of the school community each year through an awards program. Awards include:
- Outstanding Alumni Award
- Exceptional Service Award
- Kerfoot Society for Distinguished Faculty
- Fowler Award
- Stickle Award
Class Agents play a vital role in helping classmates maintain a lifelong affiliation with Saint James. Class Agents keep in touch with classmates in person, by telephone, through the mail or by email, and update them on news from the school and Alumni Council events. He or she is responsible for gathering class news and preparing class notes columns for The Review three times a year. Class agents are responsible for developing class fundraising strategies and soliciting their classmates for The Annual Fund. Class agents work closely with each other (if a class has more than one agent) and the Development Office to achieve class fundraising goals each year.
