The Annual Fund is the cornerstone of philanthropy at Saint James, providing critical support to the School’s operating budget for each fiscal year. Within the larger picture of Saint James’ finances, the Annual Fund is the only source of immediately available, flexible funds besides tuition.
What is the Annual Fund?
The Annual Fund is a yearly effort to raise unrestricted funds to help bridge the gap between tuition income and total operating expenses. Every year, hundreds of people including current parents, alumni, faculty and staff, alumni parents, grandparents, and friends of the School who believe in our mission contribute to the Annual Fund.
Gifts to the Annual Fund benefit virtually every aspect of life at Saint James. These gifts:
- provide funds for financial assistance to qualified students
- support fair compensation for our talented faculty and staff
- contribute toward the purchase of
- art supplies
- laboratory supplies for science instruction
- athletic equipment
- help to fund a wide variety of student activities
- support maintenance of campus and athletic facilities
Gifts to the Annual Fund are unrestricted, which means that the donor permits the School to identify the highest priority needs.
As we strive for full participation to reach our goal of $1.1 million, we invite you to show your support of Saint James if you have not yet done so with a gift to the Annual Fund. Your participation, at whatever amount is right for you, is needed and deeply appreciated.
