||The Chapel Choir, the largest and oldest of our ensembles, includes students in Forms III-VI (9th – 12th grades). Our singing centers on the weekly services in the Chapel and on the rich musical heritage of the Episcopal Church. The Choir performs a variety of music ranging from choral masterworks to spirituals and contemporary works. Invitations have taken the Choir to the world famous Spoleto Music Festival in Charleston, S.C., to the stage of Carnegie Hall in New York City, to historic Bruton Parish in Williamsburg, VA, and to the National Cathedral in Washington, DC.
The goal for members of the Choir is excellence in performance. The Choir is a choral performance class designed to develop skills in group singing, music reading, listening, and performing.
Singers learn musicianship, musicality, and vocal technique while offering service to the community. They deepen aesthetic understanding, and achieve a sense of community and teamwork through the enjoyment of singing.
